Founded in 1798, Milton Academy has educated America's leaders for two centuries, including such names as Robert and Ted Kennedy, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, and musician James Taylor. The diversity of education options here include religious courses, an observatory for astronomy classes, substantial athletic facilities and a full array of core academic subjects, such as English, math and science. The campus takes up a large, green swath of the town and educates just under 1,000 students, separated into upper and lower classes. Students can live on campus in the historic residence halls, or commute to school.
