The Fraternal Order of Eagles is an international charitable organization that prides itself on simply being "people helping people." At more than 100 years old, the organization gives 100 percent of its charitable donations to various causes that help the community, including assistance to children and research for diabetes and cancer, by collecting all administrative costs through membership dues. The organization is credited with establishing Mother's Day as well as being the impetus for the Social Security Act. This location meets regularly on the first and third Wednesdays of each month.
