HistoryThe Cathy Taylor School of Dance is one of the most respected studios in Massachusetts. In 2010 both Dance Teacher and Dance Spirit magazines chose the school as a Standout Studio and followed up with a feature article on the school's teachers and choreographers. The faculty is comprised of teachers who hold degrees in dance and education. Whether your child is dancing for fun and fitness or performance and competition, spending 1 hour or perhaps upwards of 6 in weekly technique classes you deserve a studio that not only knows how to teach the dance steps but will enable children to reach their goals with confidence and praise. The studio holds classes for boys and girls as young as 2 1/2. Boys are welcome in all forms of dance; but often choose the all boys hip hop classes that meet once a week. While most children dance for the fun of it many graduates can be seen performing in Broadway shows, at Disneyworld, on television, on cruise lines and in touring shows throughout the countrySpecialtiesDance instruction to children form 2 to 18 years old.
