Started as the ground man on a framing crew in high school, worked full time for a few years with the company..went to college up in Maine, built geodesic domes & dulcimers, back to Boston in summer of 1975, est. Jackbuilt Co.till school in Sept and never went back,... did frame, roof & sidewall for builders, Acorn Structures builder throughout the 80's, all passive & active solar homes, designed super insulation system, designed shower system... Acton Kitchen & Bath Company, a subsidiary of Jackbuilt Inc., was opened in Acton in 1995, moved to Bradford St., West Concord in 2001 where we set up shop for 10 years.... victim to urban renewal, we lost our space, moved to present location where we focus on kitchen and bath remodels, whole house renovations & a great remodeling experience for our clients.

Jackbuilt Inc. is a design/build/remodeling company with a focus on kitchen & bathroom additions and renovations. Custom showers are a specialty. We represent custom & semi-custom cabinet manufacturers and stone fabrication shops.We offer a kitchen & bath design service as well. We are also residential construction consultants, offering an evaluation/inspection service to homeowners who are working with contractors and have questions about procedure, quality and value. We are licensed construction supervisors, MA Home Improvement Contractors and a MA registered lead certified company. Our shop is in Concord, MA.
