Founded in 1985, the Iron Rail Gymnastic Academy was opened to provide children in Wenham and the surrounding areas a fun opportunity to experience gymnastics and martial arts. Students are encouraged to participate on a recreational level and/or in competition.

In addition to regular classes, Iron Rail offers weekly open gym times and is available for birthday parties.

it's great to do gymnastics. it smells really musty and like B.O. in here, not sure if that has changed. the gymnastics groups can be kinda cliquey in my opinion

my sister went here and she LOVES IT and she is in level 3 now I Really recommend it my sister made so many friends there and she so exited when it is time to go!

Burke's Tumbling Academy

Located across from Swampscott High School, Burke's Tumbling Academy is a state-of-the-art tumbling and cheerleading facility. Owner and head instructor Jen Burke is a native of Swampscott, was a cheerleader at Swampscott High and formerly trained at the Marblehead YMCA. The facility includes a 7,800 square foot floor, a 42' x 54' spring floor, a 40' in ground tumble track, an in ground trampoline, a foam pit and a non-spring floor for cheerleaders. JAMZ All Stars

JAMZ All Stars is a cheerleading group that offers children between the ages of 7 and 18 an opportunity for training and competition. There are both full-year and half-year teams, with the half-year team attending a smaller number of competitions each season; athletes of all skill levels are welcome. Its services are held in the Somersault Gymnastics Center, a gym that features a competition-sized spring floor, a Tumble Trak, trampoline, tumbling harness, mirrored area for practice, a balcony viewing area and a variety of training mats.
