Governor John Carver Elementary School, established in 1951 and located in Carver, Mass., is a public institution that offers educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades three through five. The school has an enrollment of more than 450 students and the elementary building shares the library and computer lab in the primary school. The organizations in the school include a parent teacher organization shared with the primary school and parent advisory council for special education and Odyssey of the Mind. The schools have adjustment counselors available to work with students, staff and parents. The report cards are issued four times a year. An active school volunteer program brings parents and interested community members into the school to work with students and teachers. The school features playgrounds designed for age-appropriate recreation. The school is affiliated with the Carver Public Schools.
