The Christian Family Montessori School is a Christian-based Montessori program offering half-day and full-day primary (children age 3-5) and Kindergarten programs. Now located in the hall of Saint Michael's Church (though not affiliated with the church), it seeks to build independence, discipline and self-esteem for children from the following towns: Holliston Hopkinton, Ashland, Milford, Medway and Sherborn. In addition to a secure, fully-equipped playground, it also features a climate-controlled classroom, which is divided into the following activity areas: everyday living, sensorial, math, living, science and geography. The Kindergarten includes the following programs: handwriting, mathematics language (word building, story making and writing), geography (map-making, customs and culture), science (classification of animals, the solar system, plants and their care) and art and music.
