The Framingham Town Manager's Office is located in room 121 inside the Memorial Building (Framingham Town Hall.)

Julian M. Suso has been Framingham's Town Manager since May 2006. The Town Manager position was established in 1996. The Town Manager is appointed by the Board of Selectmen and cannot have longer than a three-year contract.

His duties include appointing the police and fire chief and preparing and submitting an annual operating budget. For more information on the duties read the Town Manager Act of 1996 on the website.

Framingham Cultural Council

The Framingham Cultural Council is a 25-member board appointed by Selectmen. The board is located in Room B18 in the Memorial Building (Framingham Town Hall.) The Cultural Council oversees grants including PASS grants which fund cultural field trips for school students. The Council grants money to individuals and groups. Council members serve a three-year term. The Council meets about six times a year, including a public hearing to provide grant application information to residents.

Framingham Capital Building

Framingham Town Hall is known as the Memorial Building. It houses town offices, including those of the town manager, town clerk, tax collector, assessors, Board of Health, Planning Board, chief financial officer and more. Inside the Memorial Building is also Nevins Hall. The staircase outside plays host to the town's annual holiday celebration, including a Christmas tree and Santa Claus. The main foyer of the Memorial Building is dedicated to Framingham veterans.

Framingham Technology Service Department

The Framingham Police Department works toward life protection and crime prevention. It has a chief of police, deputy chief of emergency management and deputy chief of operations. The department offers administrative and crime analysis planning and research services. The Framingham Police Department s street crime unit conducts sex offender compliance checks and handles issues related to gangs, guns and drugs. In addition, it operates patrol, animal control, investigation and communication divisions. The department provides safe return and bike registration programs. The Framingham Police Department is governed by the Town of Framingham in Massachusetts, which also operates finance, fire, human service, public works, purchasing and planning board departments.
