Established in 1984, Framingham Adult English As a Second LanguagePLUS, established in 1984, is a program that serves more than 500 students. The program operates in conjunction with Framingham Public Schools and Keefe Technical Vocational School, which also provide space and support for various classes. It offers free English language instruction and life skills training to more than 5,000 immigrants in the Framingham area. Framingham Adult English As a Second LanguagePLUS provides educational opportunities for the academic development of students. The program offers computer technology, family literacy and adult basic education classes. It offers academic achievement, economic empowerment and civic involvement services. Framingham Adult English As a Second LanguagePLUS also conducts counseling sessions. It is located in Framingham, Mass.
