This serene park is dedicated to Alfred Dykes Elliot for his tireless effort in the improvement and beautification of Winchester. It's located at the intersection of Lake Street, Main Street and Skillings Road. Even though it's a busy intersection, the park remains as quiet and peaceful as if it were an island in the middle of the ocean. From the edge of the park you can look across Wedge Pond and catch a glimpse of children swimming at Borggaard Beach. It's a pleasant walk to take with your family or a pet. Whatever you do, make sure to bring a camera; you never know when you might catch a glimpse of the family of swans or ducks that call this area their home.
