With a student body of more than 700, the Edward Devotion School is Brookline's largest elementery. Devotion serves the children of Coolidge Corner and North Brookline, and is best known as the childhood school of John F. Kennedy.
Located just outside Coolidge Corner, the Devotion grounds play host to a variety of school and town-wide events, including summertime outdoor movies and the annual Coolidge Corner Arts and Food festivals.
The school attracts a diverse student body, with nearly 40 percent of students speaking English as a second language. The school offers pre-kindergarten class run by the Brookline Early Education Program.
Gerardo Martinez is the school's principal.
