The Dominican Sisters of Charity of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin is an international, multi-cultural missionary community of vowed religious sisters following the footsteps of Saint Dominic in 36 countries. Their Dominican life combines active contemplation and contemplative action, dedicated to prayer, study, community, and ministry. They serve the poor through education, healthcare, social justice pastoral ministry, and charitable work worldwide, spreading hope and advocating for the marginalized.
With a presence in the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C., the dioceses of Fall River, Massachusetts, and Brownsville, Texas, as well as the Archdiocese of Tegucigalpa in Honduras, Central America, the Dominican Sisters of Charity of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin are committed to living and dying in the service of the Church, embodying the charism of Blessed Marie Poussepin and answering the call of the Church since 1696.
