Established in 1910, the Dighton Fire Rescue Department is a public safety department that works to protect the lives and property of residents from fire and other natural and man-made disasters through mitigation, prevention, public education and training. It is comprised of more than 30 firefighters and emergency medical technicians. The department also provides information regarding smoke and carbon monoxide alarm installation. The Dighton Fire Rescue Department offers services, such as firefighting, hazardous materials response, vehicle and search rescue. It additionally offers training to its personnel. The department houses tankers, squads, rescue vans and engines. The Dighton Fire Rescue Department serves the residents of Massachusetts.
