DeNo's opened a secondary store in Brookline in 2008, but the West Roxbury location is the original, founded in 1983. One distinguishing factor is the hearth-stone pizza ovens the restuarant uses. Another would be the Sicilian Sampler, a pizza with eight individual toppings that gets divided into 32 pieces. The 29-inch Super Sub is also a specialty item, along with myriad Italian pasta dishes, calzones, paninis -- even burritos. DeNo's does extensive catering, has Wi-Fi and accepts orders through its website.
