Specialties
I have been a psychotherapist for 18 years. My practice specializes in helping men redefine their approach to relationships in a way that feels authentic, and in line with healthy male emotional development. I specialize in self-esteem, self-actualization, and helping men build and maintain attraction and intimacy. The foundation for male self-esteem begins in childhood and sets the foundation for men to share themselves in relationships, feel successful, and being a meaningful part of their children's lives. I also specialize in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in men and women, as well as recovery from abusive relationships. For men feeling successful in their relationships is part of getting to a confident place in their lives. Likewise feeling confident in their lives is a vital component of having a happy, healthy relationship. I work with men who have had experiences that make intimacy difficult, impeding healthy, happy relationships. My general practice encompasses work with depression, anxiety, stress, anger management, and self-development. I have supported men and women through difficult life transitions, maintaining passion in long-term relationships, and recovery from emotional and psychological abuse. My approach to therapy includes in-depth listening in combination with actionable advice.
