History
Joe Cerra founded Cerra's Meat Market in the North End of Boston at 123 Salem Street in 1952. Specializing in top quality meats and personalized customer service he and his son Ron expanded into the wholesale veal business owning and operating J & R Veal in New Market Square and Cerra's Veal on Chatham Street in Lynn. In 1992 Ron returned to his retail routes with the opening of Lynnfield Meat & Deli. In 2017 Ron and his son Joe relocated to Saugus and re-established as Cerra's Market still specializing in the same quality products and service that Cerra's was originally founded on.
