The William E. Carter School offers an individualized education for students with intensive special needs, fostering growth in academic areas while also providing vocational training and community immersion programs. The school serves students from kindergarten through grade 12 and is staffed with one full-time nurse and a team of behavioral specialists and physical therapists. Attached to the school is a 16,540-square-foot sensory garden outdoor classroom, designed to create sensory appeal and learning motivation for students with disabilities.
