The Cancer Prevention and Control Research Network (CPCRN) is a national network of academic, public health, and community partners dedicated to reducing the burden of cancer, particularly among those disproportionately affected. With eight network centers and over 150 members, the CPCRN conducts community-based participatory cancer research, transcending academic affiliations and geographic boundaries.
Supported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the CPCRN is a thematic research network of the CDC's flagship program for preventing and controlling chronic diseases, the Prevention Research Centers (PRCs). Through their collaborative efforts, the CPCRN aims to address equity, build capacity, and translate evidence into action, ultimately working towards the prevention and control of cancer.
