Camp Discovery is a nature-based STEM program located in Blythewood, SC, offering year-round exploration and hands-on experiential learning on 116 acres of conserved forests, meadows, creeks, and wetlands. Since 1985, Camp Discovery has engaged and inspired over 15,000 children through discovery learning in the natural world.
As an official NASA GLOBE Camp, Camp Discovery utilizes the NASA GLOBE program to bring authentic citizen science investigations to thousands of children. They also offer NASA DISCOVERIES, a program that provides intense STEM enrichment field studies and interactions with NASA subject matter experts to elementary school students, particularly those from underserved areas.
