Dr. Brenda Roy is a Board-certified specialist in gynecology and Women’s Health. Dr. Roy is a graduate of the University of Toronto School of Medicine and completed a Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at McGill University in Montreal. Prior to entering medical school, she had already earned a Master’s Degree and a PhD in Physiology at Queen’s University in Ontario. Dr. Roy’s practice focuses on gynecological care for adults, adolescents, and children. Her particular interests include Women’s Health, menopause management, pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic prolapse, and incontinence. She provides birth control counseling and offers office-based tubal ligation. She is skilled in laparoscopic (minimally-invasive) surgical techniques and is a member of the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists. Dr. Roy provides genetic counseling to appropriate individuals with female malignancies.
