Breakthrough Greater Boston is a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring excitement for learning, creating pathways to college, and promoting careers in education. Through their unique Students Teaching Students model, they prepare low-income students for success in college and life while training the next generation of teachers.
Founded by MacArthur Genius Award winner Angela Duckworth in 1992, Breakthrough Greater Boston expanded from Cambridge to Boston and Somerville, serving up to 750 students annually and training 150 Teaching Fellows.
