Braintree After School Enrichment (or BASE) is a licensed non-profit child care program that was launched by Roselyn Karll in 1985. Since then it's evolved from 2 rented rooms in the Braintree High School building to a full-on facility that enrolls over 300 children annually. between pre-school age and seven years old. The program has many rotating facets including a basketball clinic, gymnastics (in conjunction with Joan's Olympic Gym), yoga, karate, W.E.B.B. (Weekends Enriching Braintree and Beyond) and movie nights. There are before-school sessions as well. The program is now run by Karll's duahgters since her untimely passing in 2002.
