Book Fairs by Book Ends is an organization helping to bring book fairs to public schools from grades pre-K to middle school. Book Ends is actually a Winchester bookstore. The proprietors launched Book Fairs by Book Ends in 2005 with the mission of encouraging youth literacy and helping local schools with fundraising. Since their start, they have serviced more than 50 different communities.
School officials can choose from a variety of book fair styles, from the full displayed setup to a day of shopping at the Book Ends Winchester store. Book Fairs by Book Ends employees will help deliver and set up products for most fairs. School faculty is responsible for running the drive; however, all supplies will be provided, including credit card machine. Book Fairs by Book Ends also provides marketing materials for in-advance advertising. Schools can choose between three profit options: They can receive cash, books or a combination of the two.
The Book Fairs by Book Ends Salem Street location is the warehouse and office. It is not open to the public. At the end of every school year, Book Fairs has a warehouse clearance sale during which the public are welcome to shop through thousands of titles.
