Bedford Free Public Library is a fully equipped library with a large collection of books on literary subjects, such as environment, health, career, science, computers, course books, Bible study and technology. The library also offers online books, encyclopedias, magazines and journals. Located in Bedford, Mass., the Friends, an association of the Bedford Library, holds book sales all year-round. It organizes an array of social events, including youth reading, summer and children's programs, storytime and art exhibitions. Bedford Free Public Library s reference department provides lessons for the Minuteman Library Network catalog, electronic databases and the Internet and interlibrary loans. The Friends of the Bedford Free Public Library provides passes to museums that include the Audubon Society, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston by Foot, Museum of Science, New England Aquarium, DeCordova Museum, Gore Estate, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Museum of Natural History, Zoo New England and Peabody Essex Museum.
