The competition was steep and the final round was a well-fought battle of wits. After several questions, the "The EGgHeads" (Jonathan Cronin, John Santos and Bert O'Brien) won by correctly answering, "What wheel did Blaise Pascal invent in a search for perpetual motion?" with the response of the roulette wheel. This year's Bee was a roaring success for the decidedly non-trivial matter of supporting our schools, our children, and our educators. Schiffer remarked, "We are so grateful for the continued generosity that members of the Lexington community show LEF each year through their participation and support of this town-wide tradition." The Trivia Bee raises over $16, 000 annually to support grant programs for the Lexington Public Schools.
