Before the increase in popularity of electronic readers, Barnes and Noble became the nation's favorite book store, with its gargantuan stores that carry thousands more titles than most shops, as well as a large selection of magazines, cards, music and gift items.
It has now added the Nook, a full-color competitor to Amazon's Kindle and the iPad. There's a station demonstrating and selling this device. One interesting feature, you can download and sample any book available for the Nook while you're in the store. This store also has a large toy section, a school section with educational materials and free Wi-Fi.
