Opened in August 2010, Al Wadi perfects classic Lebanese dishes such as hummus, falafel, grape leaves and kebabs. More adventurous diners might try jawanah, chicken wings marinated with garlic, cilantro, olive oil and lemon juice, or seafood specials featuring sea bass or whitefish over rice with Lebanese spices. The restaurant's location, on the VFW Parkway, might not be pretty on the outside, but the interior dining room has been outfitted with a sleek bar and Middle Eastern accents.
