Great place to get outside and walk around a little. There are a ton of benches to rest of read a book. Lots to see.

Beautiful conservation land in Acton. Largish parking lot on Taylor street at 27. The area by the parking lot has some formal gardens - a Day Lilly garden, hosta garden, butterfly garden, etc....

Beautiful place, nice trails and easy parking. Also great that leashed dogs are allowed. Added bonus is all the flowers they have on the property.

Lovely spot for a fall walk. We wanted a longer walk and the trails are not stroller friendly, so the baby was carried and all was well!

Wetherbee Conservation Land

Wetherbee Conservation Land was acquired by the State from the Heywood/Sellors family in 1898. The eastern section of the land is agriculturally used for farming rotating silage crops. The northwest section of the park features a rolling meadow where crab apple trees grow. Most of the property is blazed by a loop trail. Most sections of the trail are on an old cart path, which leads to many different areas and habitats. The area is used for many activities including walking, hiking, horseback riding, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing and tracking and birding.

Guggins Brook Conservation Land

Situated on 55.5 acres of low-lying wetlands, Guggins Brook Conservation Land can be accessed through a small parking lot on the eastern side of Route 111. It features lengthy, muddy trails not suitable for horseback riding and mountain biking, bridges traversing over babbling brooks and different types of trees, including white pines, red maples, quaking aspens and oaks. The apple trees are reminders of the orchards that were once common throughout Acton.
