We got our start as a gift from Mrs. Stephanie Parker to her husband, Mr. Alonzo Parker. He's always had a knack for cooking soul food, and no plate was complete without his signature candied yams. The Parkers decided to go into business under the name of the dish that Alonzo made famous, The Candied Yam. After hiring one of the shores most notable chefs, Chef Bernadette Taylor, and an amazing staff, we opened February 8, 2017.
