Founded in 1829, St. John Regional Catholic School offers a variety of educational and enrichment programs for students in prekindergarten through grade eight. It teaches various subjects, including English, Spanish, religious studies, math, science, social studies, health education, language arts, computer science, music, arts and crafts, and physical education. The school offers sports programs, such as lacrosse, baseball, soccer and basketball. It also provides a variety of extracurricular activities, including band, chorus, Irish dance, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, yearbook club, student council, art club, beta club, and National Junior Honor Society. The school is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, and is a member of the National Catholic Education Association. Located in Frederick, Md., St. John Regional Catholic School enrolls more than 600 students.
