The Phillips Wharf Environmental Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Tilghman, MD, dedicated to environmental education and the preservation of the Chesapeake Bay ecosystem. Through interactive experiences and programs such as the Fishmobile, oyster restoration, and adult education, they aim to engage individuals of all ages in becoming stewards of the Bay.
Founded in 2005 by Kelley Phillips Cox and Jerry Cox, the center has recently relocated to Easton, Maryland, where it will soon open a new facility in Easton Point Park. This waterfront location will feature an aquarium, classroom space, and ample outdoor areas for educational activities and events, making it an ideal destination for outdoor adventures in Talbot County.
