Green Bay Packaging is a privately owned, diversified manufacturer of paperboard packaging. Founded by George F. Kress in 1933, the company employs more than 3,000 people and consists of nearly 30 divisions operating in approximately 15 states. As a vertically integrated manufacturer, the company's paper mills manufacture linerboard, which is supplied to the company s corrugated box plants, as well as to other manufacturers. The company has a fully integrated pulp and paper mill that manufacturers 100 percent recycled containerboards. Green Bay Packaging also manufactures pressure-sensitive label stock. Its coated products operations offer a wide selection of pressure-sensitive materials to meet customer requests.
