Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium is a stadium located in Annapolis, Maryland near the campus of U.S. Naval Academy. Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium currently houses the NCAA team the Navy Midshipmen. The stadium opened under its current name in 1959 with the construction taking just over one year at a cost of just over $3 million, $24 million in present day dollars. The latest renovation was in 2004.
The Navy Midshipmen are members of the Independent Conference of the within National Collegiate Athletic Association. They are known by their team colors consisting of blue and gold. Their mascot is Bill the Goat.
