Mussel Bar, a Belgain-style pub inspired by a dive bar in Brussels, opened July 2010 to rave reviews. The service is top notch and the minimalist decor of dark wood high table tops is elegant. A giant cooler features dozens of Belgain beers and 9 beers are on tap. There is a variety of steamed mussels available, as well as Belgain pizzas, and all of the produce is locally grown, particularly at Parker Farms in Virginia. Be sure to call ahead for Friday and Saturday nights to see how busy they are!
