Mayo Elementary School is a K-5 elementary school located just off Mayo Road/Central Avenue on the peninsula in Edgewater. One of three schools servicing the Edgewater communities, Mayo is the smallest, accommodating more than 300 students from communities east of Selby, including neighborhoods on Carrs Wharf Road, Turkey Point and Beverly Beach. An active PTO and the closeness of the community are key to faculty, staff, students and parents.
