The Marilyn J. Praisner Library is one of two libraries that serves East Montgomery County. Re-named for late county councilwoman Marilyn J. Praisner two years ago, the library features plenty of space for community members, including one large meeting room that is available for rent along with two smaller tutor rooms that local citizens may reserve free of charge. There is also a communal study room.
Montgomery County Public Library (MCPL) cardholders may use one of the 20 public computers for Internet access and document creation. (Residents can bring their own flash drive to save work). This branch is also home to robust book collections for adults and children. Librarians also curate new releases and special interest books which are displayed throughout the building.
