History
Back in 2009, Rich Pugh was looking to open a small Neapolitan brick oven pizzeria. After searching for several locations, a friend mentioned a local spot, Kelly's, had recently closed its doors. That location presented itself as an opportunity to still offer great pizza but also serve as a local neighborhood tavern. He called on his long time friend Steve Ball who had been in the bar/restaurant business for several years down in DC, and asked if he wanted to move to Baltimore and open a Bar/Pizzeria. He did so and took on the partnership. Without a wood fired brick oven, the pizza wouldn't quite be Neapolitan so they coined it
