The Inverness Recreation Club is a private club that residents of Potomac and the surrounding areas may join. The club offers a pool; a children's playground; picnic tables and grills; a multi-purpose clubhouse; soccer fields; and basketball, tennis and volleyball courts. The club also operates a swim team, offers swimming lessons and diving classes to members, and hosts social events.
