Stephen Rice brings his expertise in the traditional style of restoring antiques to the Kensington community. During the early 1980s, he lived in Paris for 3 years while he apprenticed for Francois Germond, a world-renowned master who was responsible for antique restoration throughout the museums in Europe. Rice took classes at Germond's school and learned how to make his own tools and toolbox in the same style of the 18th century. He specializes in the restoration of 18th- and 19th-century antiques, particularly anything in wood.
