The mission of Greenbelt Baptist Church is, "helping people connect with Christ and His family through loving service," which this church attempts to do this every Sunday. Upon entering the white awning of the church, visitors and members alike are greeted as they make their way to the worship area. Children are encouraged to participate in the nursery program during the service and older kids have the option to attend Sunday school. There are also three adult Sunday school classes, two of which are co-ed and one for only women.
Outside of Sunday worship service, the church is available to rent for baptisms and weddings or even for organized meetings using one of their classrooms. Greenbelt also serves the community through the SHARE Food Network, a D.C.-based non-profit that provides affordable groceries for pick-up once-a-month to needy families.
