Our musical guests have featured such national acts as Robbie Fulks, Jenny Scheinman, Emily Wells, Deanna Bogart as well as such regional favorites as Dead Men's Hollow, Cold Hard Cash, Bo Weevil and Rotten Cottin, and a dozen others.
Specialties
Our festival's mission is to provide access and exposure to the art of film and film appreciation to the Frederick community through exhibition of films and other film-related educational activities. Also, to stimulate the recognition of the artistic merit of film and to foster an appreciation of different cultures, cultural artistic styles, and history through the viewing and discussion of international and documentary films. Each year we present more than 60 feature length and short films from all over the world during the course of a single weekend. In addition we bring in filmmakers, cast members, media professionals, and musical artists. It is a weekend of fun and film!
