Davidsonville United Methodist Church is a busy parish with youth groups, adult ministries and regular club meetings. Among the many activities and groups are praise band, chancel choir, adult hand bell choir, children's choir, Cornerstone Theatre, United Methodist Men and United Methodist Women.
Active in the community, the church is home to the Tongues of Fire BBQ team ministry, which raises money through BBQ events and then travels to underserved areas to assist in construction and disaster relief. In addition, the parish hosts three seasonal festivals that are well known to area residents: the spring Strawberry Festival, the summer Peach Festival and the Fall Festival (which includes lots of apples!).
The church building is also used by other community groups, including Crossroads Child Care Center, Alcoholics Anonymous, ACOA, scouting and the community home owners' associations.
