HistoryMs. Dawn is the owner and operator of Little People's Educare. She started her business over twenty (20) years ago, out of a desire to see children get a quality start in the education process. She opened her heart and her home to families in need of a safe, smoke-free, nurturing and educating environment. Ms. Dawn also committed to continuing her education in child development by taking courses offered by various professional educators. She has obtained her 90hr certification and her 45hr infant and toddler certification. She is CPR and First Aid certified. She continues to take courses to enhance her program. n addition to that, Ms. Dawn has also mentored many single mothers. Out of a heart of compassion, she takes them in as family and builds lasting relationships. Ms. Dawn still communicates with many of her parents and children through adulthood and have become a part of their extended families.SpecialtiesLittle People's Educare is a mid-sized, full service child care and learning center, located in the Owings Mills section of Baltimore County, that offers care for children aged 6-week infants to 12yrs old. In business since 1991 as a family child care home, we have cared for and increased the learning capability of many little ones. Little People's Educare has been established out of Ms. Dawn's sincere desire to help children in proper adjustment and development into our changing world. There is a need for parents to feel assured that their children will be cared for in a safe environment, learning and interacting with other children their own age.
