This Hasidic Jewish movement has institutions around the globe that provide education and outreach opportunities for Jews and the community. The Chabad-Lubavich of Bethesda-Chevy Chase holds daily prayer sessions, high holy day worship, a Hebrew school, summer camps, youth and teen programs and adult education. The Chabad also holds community events including public menorah lightings at Hanukkah.
