History
About Bryon W. Szojchet Esq. Bryon started out as a rabbinical student with aspirations of teaching and counseling. Bryon married and raised his six children while serving as a teacher and a Rabbi for almost 20 years. It was during this period that he not only became aware of but experienced first hand the array of social, emotional, spiritual and financial challenges facing families during separation and divorce. The plight of the children became his greatest concern. Bryon saw that he could best serve people in such circumstances as an attorney and advocate. So, in 2000, at the age of 41, while working full time to support his family, Bryon attended the University of Maryland School of Law, graduated with Honors and was admitted to practice Law in the State of Maryland. To acquire litigation experience, Bryon volunteered as a pro bono panel attorney for the Public Defender in Baltimore City. After six months he was invited to join the litigation team at the House of Ruth Legal Clin
