The Biostatistics Center is a research facility of the George Washington University under the Associate Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies. The center serves as the statistical coordinating center for large-scale multicenter clinical trials and epidemiology studies. Current funding is at about $29 million per year through grants, contracts and cooperative agreements with the National Institutes of Health and several other research sponsors. As a part of George Washington University, the center offers graduate programs in Biostatistics and Epidemiology. The Biostatistics Center is the recipient of the Samuel W. Greenhouse Biostatistics Research Enhancement Award. The Biostastics Center provides online resources including history and nature of activities, research project information and the Biostatistics Center s publications.
