Acupuncture Clinic of Maryland is the oldest acupuncture provider in Maryland with more than 40 years of service. It's recommended by the National Institutes of Health and physicians with Johns Hopkins University hospitals. The practice is run by Y.C. Chan and Rong Shiaung Yu, both are Oriental Medical Doctors. They have treated more than 200,000 people during the course of their careers. Dr Chan is the 1997/98 recipient of the Outstanding International Traditional Medicine Scholar of the Year. He also received the World Traditional Medicine Contest award in 1994, 1995, 1996, 1998 and 2000. He is the creator of various acupuncture treatments. The clinic is located in the Medical Building, next to White Flint Mall. Its within walking distance of the Grosvnor and Twinbrook subway stations on the Red Line.
