History
Anne Erwin Sotheby's International Realty was founded in 1980 by Anne Erwin, wife of former Maine Attorney General and prominent York attorney, James Erwin. Anne's advocacy within the local community and propensity for developing relationships, rooted her favorable reputation as she grew Anne Erwin Real Estate into a leading real estate firm, with an eye towards marketing distinctive properties. In 1989, Anne retired and entrusted ownership to Eileen Roberts, who successfully maintained the tradition of service excellence while growing the company in size and scope. After many successful years in the business, Linda Briggs became the proud broker/owner in 2010 and, along with the previous women owners, shared a vision of creating a hand-selected team of experienced agents to serve our community together with an extraordinary marketing program to leverage the local reach of the global brand.
