The mission of the Baton Rouge Parish Attorney s Office is to provide sound legal advice to the metropolitan council, the mayor-president and all departments, offices and agencies therein. The Baton Rouge Parish Attorney also has a prosecutor s, pretrial diversion, investigations, legislative and legal services divisional offices in Baton Rouge, La. The Office of Alcohol Beverage Control is part of the Attorney s Office. It regulates all businesses and individuals in East Baton Rouge Parish that sell, serve or dispense alcoholic beverages. The Baton Rouge Parish Attorney s Office is part of the city government and is directed by the Parish Attorney, which is appointed by the metropolitan council.
