Lake Charles Ward 3 Recreation District, formerly known as Ward 3 Recreation, was established in 2004 through a public improvement bond proposition in Calcasieu Parish. Over the years, the district has expanded to operate twelve recreational parks and facilities, including Enos Derbonne, Pryce Miller Community Center, and the Power Centre Multi-Sports Complex.
Committed to providing the citizens of Southwest Louisiana with top-notch recreational opportunities, Lake Charles Ward 3 Recreation aims to promote a healthier lifestyle and foster community growth. With a mission to establish, maintain, and improve public parks and facilities for all residents, the district is funded by the generous support of the Calcasieu Parish community.
